Robbed and murdered a 29-year-old woman and an engaged couple with a shotgun after hitting their cars on Interstate 57 (June 3, 1973)

Murdered a fellow inmate with a shank - a knife fashioned from a soup label (October 1978)
Sentenced to death (on hold since ##6963>IL</a> Gov. George Ryan declared a moratorium on executions in January 2000)


WHY HE MIGHT BE ANNOYING

His black Muslim father taught him to hate white people, but he stated, 'As I grew up, I decided I didn't like nobody.'
He forced the woman to disrobe, then stuck the shotgun barrel in her vagina and pulled the trigger.
He ordered the couple to lie on their stomachs. When begging for their lives saying they were engaged he said, 'Then kiss your last kiss,' then shot them both.
He accosted a guard at knife point to give him keys to a cell, then butchered another inmate.
In all he's assaulted 15 inmates and guards, hit a warden with a broom handle and started a prison riot.
He stated, 'I'm no bad dude, just an anti-social individual.'
The warden in the prison where he awaits his fate says, 'Henry is a special case. I would be foolish to say I can guarantee he won't kill anyone again. But the chances are minimized here.'

WHY HE MIGHT NOT BE ANNOYING

One of his non-fatal assaults was on serial killer ##2532>John Wayne Gacy</a>.
He is now being held in a limited mobility 'super-max' correctional center where his movements are continuously monitored.

Of course, if the moratorium on IL executions is lifted and he's put to death, we'll have to change this loser's profiile. But until then, that convicted felon ex-Gov. Ryan had his 15 minutes. Hell, Nelson Mandela called to thank him! I'll venture Howdy considers Ryan a social humanitarian.
