What do you think are the ugliest sports uniforms out there? My picks:

MLB - The San Diego Padres camouflage tops with khaki-tinted pants (for military promotion home games)

NBA - Washington Wizards road jerseys - gold top and black pants?

NFL - You wou'dve thought anything could've been an improvement over the old ones...

NHL - The Minnesota Wild red & green uniform....

College - University Of Oregon football

What do you think are the best uniforms in sports out there? My picks:

MLB - The New York Yankees. Classic. It symbolizes baseball.

NBA - The Los Angeles Lakers. Classic Purple & Gold

NFL - Pittsburgh Steelers

NHL - Montreal Canadiens

COLLEGE - University of Southern California Football

Ok, my picks for the ugliest uniforms

NHL - The Nashville Predators mustard colored third jersey makes me want to throw up every time i look at it

(honorable mention goes to the Boston Bruins mustard color Pooh Bear jersey)

MLB - The old blue Montreal Expos road uniform is one that definately had to be hideous.

(honorable mention goes to the Anaheim Angels periwinkle beer league jersey)

NFL - The classic Tampa Bay Buccaneers ones are downright awful, no ifs, ands or buts about it

(honorable mention goes to the Denver Broncos uniforms prior to 1997)

NBA - The Toronto Raptors inaugural jersey began the craze of many animal nicknamed teams to put giant images on the jerseys. does a basketball uniform actually need a giant logo on the chest?.

(honorable mention goes to the Orlando Magic star shadow jersey, way too overdone right there)

Ok, my picks for the best uniforms

NHL - Chicago Blackhawks, while most teams went all crazy during the RBK Edge uniform launch, the Hawks stuck with tradition and kept their original uniform

(honorable mention goes to the Boston Bruins new RBK Edge jersey)

MLB - The San Francisco Giants get the nod here for going back to their roots when they unveiled this uniform back in the 2000 season

(honorable mention goes to the Detroit Tigers home jersey)

NFL - The Green Bay Packers jersey gets the nod here, it's classic and unchanged

(honorable mention goes to the Cleveland Browns for their simple look which only underwent a few minor modifications over the years)

NBA - San Antonio Spurs, although their rainbow colored fiesta logo was the designated one, the uniform remained unchanged since the franchise's inception

(honorable mention goes to the Boston Celtics uniforms for their overall classic look)

The best uniforms in sports...

MLB - Colorado Rockies

NFL - Denver Broncos

NHL - Colorado Avalanche

NBA - Denver Nuggets

The Colorado pro-sports teams have some pretty nice uniforms. As an honorable mention, I will say that I like the St. Louis Cardinals uniforms.

I do think that the Cubs, Red Sox, Cardinals, and Yankees have the best uniforms in baseball for their sheer "classicness"...now, there's no debating the Astros 1980s were the worst. Ugh!

In the NFL, it's my hometown bias, but I do love my Bengals' snazzy stripes on their helmets. Ugliest? Please, that has to be those of the Bucs. Either way.

One of my hobbies of mine is looking up baseball uniforms. If you go the Hall of Fame website you will find some very interesting uniforms. For example the Cleveland Indians Had a solid red away uniform with blue stirrups and red shoes or the Philidelphia Phillies once wore all Burgundy uniform.

How about the Florida A&M Rattlers football uniforms?

Or the Philadelphia Eagles throwbacks they wore against Detroit this year?

I would have to say the teams with the Best Uniforms would have to be the Red Sox and the Yankees. I loved the hat that the Orioles wore in the 1980's. The Cardinals have a great uniform.

As for the ugliest uniforms I really don't have a preference. One thing that I wish baseball would get back to is wearing stirrups. I don't like the pants and shoes gig. I do like it when the players where the long socks. I am an old school guy when it comes to baseball uniforms.

In football the Bears, the Giants, and the Redskins have great uniforms.
The ugliest uniforms are the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. Honestly it is because I mostly hate the packers and the Cowboys.

Not necessarily. I mean, you are well thinking Seabrook...but there's a chance you may do something dumb, like design horribly tacky sports uniforms, or, in my friend Tom's case, eat Rocky Mountain Oysters.

The good news is you don't seem to have any crucial tasks such as designing sports uniforms. Thus, you are saved from such poor decisions.

I tried Rocky Mountain Oysters once. Do you think I'm proud to say that I ate bull testicles? The ones I had did taste like chicken nuggets, though.

While the old Nuggets uniforms were tacky, people are still talking about them, right?

Believe me...I've made a number of poor decisions and the altitude had nothing to do with them!

Back to the topic, do you guys remember the mid-90's when some of the teams (like the Pirates, Royals and Orioles) wore those gray caps with their road uniforms? I thought those gray caps were ugly, ugly, ugly!

I've never had Rocky Mountain Oysters and the sheer idea of them makes me revolted...now, your mentioning they tasted like chicken nuggets has me intreagued. Nevertheless, I'll pass.

And you're right, the grey caps of the mid 1990s were pretty ugly. Sometimes, you just don't mess with classics.

I'd suggest popcorn shrimp instead! Rocky Mountain Oysters are sold at Coors Field, so if you ever 'visit' the stadium again, you can have a hot dog, some popcorn, maybe a Coke...and some bull testicles!

Even though I didn't like the gray caps, I do like the solid color tops many baseball teams wear now. The Oakland A's green jerseys, the Chicago Cubs blue jerseys, the Cincinnati Reds red jerseys, etc. However, I don't care for the Astros red jerseys with black caps--that looks silly! I also prefer when the Rockies wear their solid black jerseys instead of the purple ones.

I usually munch on peanuts, a hot dog, and beer. Here in Cincy, the sausage choices are terrific...we have bratwurst, metwurst, a Skyline Chili Cheese Coney, or, my personal favorite, the Big Red Smokey...it's the smoked sausage that thinks it's a hot dog!

As for the solid color jerseys, I couldn't agree more...the Reds red, A's green, Cubs blue, etc. Even when the Yankees wear navy blue with the striped pants, that's okay...now the mix and match hats and jerseys like the Astros'? Nope...sorry
