My gut is telling me the Patriots, but the Eagles torched the best defense in the playoffs and the Patriots had arguably the worst defense in the playoffs. So, what the hell, I'll go with the Eagles.

It'll be real close I think, but though a backup quarterback leading a team to the Super Bowl is a good story, I'm still going with the team from Foxboro to make it six.  New England Patriots 27, Philadelphia Eagles 24

(Then again, this is the third time I picked against the Eagles these playoffs, so it's possible I'll be wrong 3 out of 3)

Brady/Belichick Super Bowls are always close and pretty damn exciting (well maybe not the second Giants one). Honestly, I'm just hoping for a great game. I would love it if a backup quarterback beat Brady in this Super Bowl, just like how he was a back up quarterback who beat the Greatest Show on Turf.

More than likely the Patriots will win. That being said I am rooting for the Eagles.

Lesson to learn: do not bet against Tom Brady.

I think the New England Patriots will win.  Not so interested in the game, as Patriots fatigue has set in.  Very interested in "This Is Us" after the game, though.  Can't wait for that!

Yes, my sole Eagles vote sealed it! That was a fun game, though I would have loved to see the defense show up for more than just those two turnovers.

Yeah for real - it was a helluva game. As a New Englander I'll say its great to see a team other than the Patriots winning, for such a huge country the last few years it seems like a rinse-repeat of Patriots/Broncos/Seahawks. Would love to see continued competition from teams across the league (so as much as I'm happy for the Eagles I'd love to see two completely different teams facing off next year just for the sake of variety).

I'd love to see the AFC have some parity. Since Brady took over for Bledsoe, the AFC has had only five quarterbacks in the Super Bowl:
    Tom Brady (8 times)
    Rich Gannon (1 time)
    Ben Roethlisberger (3 times)
    Peyton Manning (Four times)
    Joe Flacco (1 time, somehow)

Meanwhile the NFC has had every team but Dallas, Detroit, Minnesota and Washington make the Super Bowl in that time table.

Which is partially why I have such a hard time swallowing the extravagant praise that gets lavished on the Pats every year - comparably the competition in the AFC East is so incredibly weak its like putting a thumb on the scale. It'd be easier to "root for them" if there wasn't such an aura of invincibility - but Boston media takes the hero worship so seriously that they also take all the fun out of it.
