You really hit the nail on the head when you state the site is an online home for many of us.
 
I've laughed and cried with the site. I've shared feelings of joy and dispair on the site.
 
I find great comfort in knowing the site is here at any time for whatever reason I need to express myself. When two of my dogs died in 2006 and 2008, when Scar Tactette contracted West Nile Virus, here I was, and the members came though for me with their collective open arms.
 
Many members here I consider cyberfriends that I may never meet face-to-face, but value their friendship. Bruce was one of them.
 
Unlike other sites that usually concentrate on one person/celeb, or one topic, this site is WIDE OPEN for a wide range of discussions, concerning both serious and not-so-serious matters.
 
Marc, I love contibuting to this site and as long as you and the gang continue to be here, by cracky, so will I!

Something really bizarre just occurred to me: what happens when Marc bites the dust?

I do have an Annoyatorium/Bruce related question.
 
Bruce was the one who would occasionally post an e-mail from a reader in The Mail Bag forum.
 
So, will someone take this position over, or is the thread doomed?

Let's cross our fingers. I'm still young, so barring any major tragedies, I should be alright for many, many decades to come.

My sincere condolences to you and yours, it's a terrible thing to lose someone dear without warning.
 
I wish I'd have had a chance to meet Bruce when I met up with you and Keith in New York, many moons ago.
 
Reading through the posts from old and new forum members alike - I'm pleased to see the high regard for Bruce and the appreciation for his work on this site. He deserves it all.

I like to share another story:

For several weeks I was unable to log into the module despite several attempts to do so. Survivor 19 started...I still could not enter the module. Devil Doll messaged me asking what is going on with the profile series (she assumed I may have suddenly stopped writing profiles). I explained to her that I had trouble getting in the module despite the correct password. I 'cc'ed the same message to all the other proofreaders, Cool It All Right and Bruce. With the note, I included this very random photo of myself:




I get this response from Bruce (which I still have in my Inbox, so I copied and pasted it...but edited out the private details)

Anyway I just checked the submit module and you have 3 names entered
