Now, the top 10.  As always, feel free to provide your own commentary!

#10 MOST ANNOYING:  JOSH DUGGAR

This year, one of the 19 Kids featured on the reality show "19 Kids and Counting" was revealed to have molested five younger children when he was a teenager.  Four of the five girls molested by Duggar was his own siblings.  This all ended up getting hushed thanks to his parents and a family friend, a state trooper who himself was eventually convicted of child porn possession.  Also, his name was among those outed as subscribers of the adultery site Ashley Madison.  While all this was going on, he was espousing his "family values" and campaigning against gay marriage.  His hypocrisy being outed led to "19 Kids and Counting" being cancelled, so maybe that part was a good thing.  One more thing:  Tammy Wynette probably would've thought Mr. Duggar's wife is going too far when it comes to standing by her man.

#10 LEAST ANNOYING:  CHRISTOPHER LEE

One generation remembered him for his multiple films portraying Dracula.  Another generation knew him from playing the baddie in a James Bond film or as Lord Summerisle in "The Wicker Man".  Yet another generation knew him for his villainous roles in early 2000's trilogies of "The Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars".  And then, of course, he was also known for his metal albums.  Sir Lee, who passed away on June 7 at the age of 93, certainly had a memorable and eclectic career.

#9 MOST ANNOYING:  CAITLYN JENNER

The former athlete formerly known as Bruce Jenner revealed that she was transitioning to life as a woman.  The fact alone certainly wasn't why she was voted the forum's ninth most annoying.  It was the hype over her original announcement in a Diane Sawyer interview, her cover spread on Vanity Fair, and her starring in E!'s 926th Kardashian-related reality show, "I Am Cait".  Then there was a controversy after ESPN gave her the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, as it was alleged that she worked behind the scenes in order to receive that award.  While there may some noble intentions with Jenner coming out publicly, there is skepticism of whether all this is a publicity stunt from a member of a family known for publicity stunts.

#9 LEAST ANNOYING:  KANSAS CITY ROYALS

The Major League Baseball team won their first World Series in 30 years in 2015.  This was admirable considering how close they came to winning it in 2014, how they were a laughingstock franchise for most of the 1990s and 2000s, and that their payroll was half that of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who didn't make it out of the first round.  Perhaps the only annoying thing about this was that it wasn't the Chicago Cubs, who were predicted as winning the 2015 Series in Back to the Future Part II (though according to toys, Old Biff screwed up that timeline)

Had there not been quite the hype that actually followed, Caitlyn Jenner might not have been rated so annoying.

And the Royals?  Sent the Blue Jays' arses to the cleaners.  This was a slam dunk for Not Annoying.

Even though the Cubs didn't win this year, it was good to see my American League team win it all and being able to celebrate a World Series in the city I live in. And I totally forgot to share some of my celebration pictures I from the Royals championship rally.

#8 MOST ANNOYING:  KIM KARDASHIAN

Well, um, let's see:  she's still married to Kanye West.  And they named their newest child "Saint".  And she released a book of selfies called "Selfish".  And she and her family still has those E! reality shows.  And I don't know what she DOES except she's a self-promoter.  That's what I got

#8 LEAST ANNOYING:  LEONARD NIMOY

The actor died in February 27 from complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.  He was best known for his role as Spock on "Star Trek", the narrator on "In Search Of...", and the director of "Three Men and a Baby" (look it up).  He also created the "live long and prosper" Vulcan salute, which was based on a gesture Jewish priests make when giving blessings.  Even though it's kind of annoying for those having trouble with the LLAP gesture, Mr. Nimoy certainly made a mark on our culture.

#7 MOST ANNOYING:  TED CRUZ

The race for U.S. President began heating up this year, so many pursuing the Oval Office made the Annoyatorium Most Annoying list this year.  The Republican junior senator from Texas was among them.  Among the annoying things people found about him was his hardline stance on immigration, even though he was the son of a Cuban migrant and his parents lived in Canada when he was born.  He spoke at a conference where its host advocated the execution of homosexuals.  He was in a video where he fried bacon off the end of a semi-automatic (he is against gun control THAT much, apparently).  Since, as of now, he is polling second behind Donald Trump in the GOP race, we're sure we'll hear more of Sen. Cruz in 2016.

#7 LEAST ANNOYING:  THE PARIS TRAIN HEROES

France experienced two strings of bad terrorist attacks this year:  one in January on "Charlie Hebdo" magazine and a kosher supermarket; and another in November on a concert hall, restaurants and a soccer match.  In August, a third assault in France happened on a train traveling from Amsterdam to Paris , but thanks to the actions of several, tragedy was averted.  After a gunman left the restroom, Damien A and Mark Moogalian tried to first subdue the gunman, and Moogalian was shot as a result.  Then three Americans - Airman First Class Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler, Specialist Alek Skarlatos - charged and tackled the gunman.  British passenger Chris Norman and a train driver later helped hold the gunman down.  Despite being slashed by the gunman, Stone saved Moogalian's life by keeping him from further bleeding using his fingers.  Thanks to the unselfish acts by these passengers (and the gunman's rifle jamming), no one was killed.

Note - #7 was shared by Alek Skarlatos, Anthony Sadler & Spencer Stone, as they were all collectively named in four lists.  Chris Norman & Mark Moogalian was also mentioned in one list.  I just wanted to recognize all those responsible for their heroic acts

Love reading the commentaries, as always, Hoxy!

Off the top of my head, Lady GaGa *might* join Barack Obama as the only other public figure to make both the Annoyatorium's 50 Most and 50 Least Annoying in the same year (2011).  (*might* because I didn't actually verify that before I wrote it!)

Nice to see some of the folks we lost in 2015 on the least annoying list.  I generally don't include those who died on my list - except when Whitney Houston passed.  May one of the ultimate divas rest in peace!

Commentaries for the top 10's sum things up so well!

Josh Duggar - Had his family not been famous for being on reality tv, the resurfacing of his past wouldn't have been a big deal.  He did take responsibility for the past sexual assaults and being unfaithful to his wife, but, I strongly dislike his hypocrisy.  Justifying the condemnation of others on the grounds of "morality" and "family values" while living the life he lived was a terrible thing to do.  Well deserved spot for him.

Caitlyn Jenner - Out of control ego.  Even giving the benefit of the doubt for the car accident which resulted in the death of a fellow motorist, there were plenty of reasons to find Jenner annoying.  While I didn't like awarding her the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, there were some great points in the speech (the speech fits the Google Zeitgeist video for 2015 quite well).

Ted Cruz - Just...NO....

Congrats, again, to the Royals on their World Series championship!  Given the franchise's record for the 25 seasons prior to the 2014 season, very few folks in 2012 would've believed that in 3 years time, the Royals would be world champions.  With praise, shade.  The Diva doesn't like sports dynasties that much (unless they're Colorado teams), so, it might be nice to see "new blood" represent the AL in the World Series next year.

#6 MOST ANNOYING:  MIKE HUCKABEE

The former Arkansas governor was among those who seeked the U.S. president position this year.  He also was at that homosexual-execution conference, and his evangelical, conservation viewpoint was off-putting for some.  Perhaps the most annoying thing about him was his friendship with the scandal-ridden Duggar family.  Now he's sorta flip-flopping on them, saying he "never defended Josh (Duggar)."  Riiiight...

#6 LEAST ANNOYING:  LADY GAGA

Stefani Germanotta remained one of the most unique performers in pop music in 2015.  She notably performed a medley of "Sound of Music" songs for the Academy Awards.  She tried her hand in acting with her role in "American Horror Story:  Hotel".  She also contributed an original song to the documentary "The Hunting Ground".  Billboard Magazine named her Woman of the Year this year.  She continues being part of the public consciousness.

That is correct.  That's probably among my favorite things about putting all the lists:  finding public figures so polarizing they would make both lists.  President Obama also performed the double in 2012   And I thought Katy Perry also did the double one year, but I think she was just close.

#6 LEAST ANNOYING:  LADY GAGA

That "Sound of Music" medley is one of my favorite pop culture moments of 2015!  Actually, of the entire decade (so far).  Her voice was so beautiful, the performance classy and elegant.  I've re-watched the medley several times this year, via YouTube.  As corny as it is, I also found that Barnes & Noble Christmas commercial she filmed with Tony Bennett to be quite charming.

#5 MOST ANNOYING:  JARED FOGLE

He was the guy known for losing a lot of weight with a Subway sandwich diet and then milking it with 15 years worth of Subway endorsements.  He pleaded guilty to child pornography possession and for traveling to engage in sexual contact with a minor.  He eventually was sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in prison, and was ordered to pay restitution to 14 victims.  Among the other sick details is him paying a finder's fee to adult prostitutes to find him underage girls, and having a friend in charge of his non-profit foundation who himself was charged with child sex crimes.  No way not to be blunt about this:  this is a sick individual, and I'm glad he is in jail.

#5 LEAST ANNOYING:  MALALA YOUSAFZAI

This is one person I wouldn't mind if she is on the Annoyatorium's Least Annoying list every year.  The youngest ever Nobel laureate turned 18 this year.  A documentary was also released on the Pakistani's life which shows her human side as well as one where she visits places such as the United Nations and advocating better education for developing countries and for females.  As she told a New York Times interviewer, "Every world leader wants quality education for their children. They need to think of the rest of the world’s children as their own children."

The whole Jared Fogle mess seemingly came out of nowhere.  All we ever knew about his life was that he lost a lot of weight, partially (?) due to his Subway diet - and, he seemed like a nice enough average guy.  Between Fogle and Duggar - just goes to show you, some folks who seem "wholesome" can, in reality, be anything but.  Also annoying, his (alleged) sham foundation to fund programs created to raise awareness for childhood obesity.  (Allegedly) more of that money find it's way to his pocket than to any schools or youth programs.

Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.

#4 MOST ANNOYING:  BILL COSBY

Sexual misconduct allegations continued to dog the comedian and TV actor in 2015.  Thirty-five women who accused Cosby of raping them (usually with the aid of Quaaludes)  appeared in a cover story for New York Magazine.  Then, a decade-old deposition in a civil trial was unsealed, where Cosby admitted to obtaining Quaaludes to give to women, though he claimed it was for consensual sex.  Then today, he was charged for sexual assault (the same one with the unsealed deposition).  We will find out the results in that particular case later on, the public perception of this formerly well-beloved comedian has changed.

#4 LEAST ANNOYING:  JON STEWART

This year has seen late-night shows in transition, and Mr. Stewart was part of it.  After 16 years of hosting "The Daily Show", he stepped down.  With him at the helm, "The Daily Show" went a long way since the days of Craig Kilborn (remember him?)  Trevor Noah took over the Comedy Central show, but it won't be the same without Stewart's quips.  And we haven't seen the last of Jon, as he signed a four-year deal with HBO.

#3 MOST ANNOYING:  DYLANN ROOF

This guy opened fire at a prayer service at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC, killing nine African-Americans.  He was a racist who posed in pictures with white supremacist symbols, and one main motive he had on the attack to start a "race war".  For such an evil act, at least two good things came out of it.  First, South Carolina took a harder look at the Confederate flag's presence at their State House grounds, and took it down.  Second, when Roof faced charges through a closed-circuit TV, representatives of the victims spoke at the courtroom and each one forgave him.  Nadine Collier, daughter of victim Ethel Lance, said to him, "I forgive you.  I will never talk to her ever again, never be able to hold her again. I forgive you and have mercy on your soul. You hurt me, you hurt a lot of people, but I forgive you."  Evil and hate sucks, but nothing to me is more powerful than love.

RIP

#3 LEAST ANNOYING:  CHRIS PRATT

For the second straight year, Mr. Anna Faris is in the number three spot.  He finished playing Andy Dwyer in NBC's "Parks and Recreation", and he continued last year's trend of starring roles in blockbuster by portraying velociraptor trainer Owen Grady in "Jurassic World".  Also, he (a Seattle Seahawks fan) made a bet with Chris Evans (a New England Patriots fan) that they would visit each other's children's hospitals dressed as their respective Marvel superhero roles depending on the result of the Super Bowl.  Fulfilling the losing side of the bet, Chris Pratt dressed up as Star-Lord for a Boston children's hospital (though Evans also dressed up as Captain America for a Seattle hospital).  Mr. Pratt seems like a classy dude, and worthy of this high spot.

#2 MOST ANNOYING:  DONALD TRUMP

The real estate mogul and former host of "The Apprentice" announced his candidacy for President of the United States in 2015.  Even though he is currently leading in most polls in the GOP race, his brash statements have made some wonder if he is fit to be President.  He made sexist comments, such as saying that Fox News' Megyn Kelly had "blood coming out of her wherever".  He supports deportation of all of the illegal immigrants, despite the logistics.  Then after the San Bernardino shooting, he advocated a ban on Muslims entering the U.S.  That drew ire from his own party, and comparisons to FDR's Japanese-American internments during World War II. We don't know what twist and turn the presidential race in 2016 will take, but I'm sure Trump will be high on the Annoyatorium's Most Annoying race in 2016.

#2 LEAST ANNOYING:  STEPHEN COLBERT

Mr. Colbert was another late-night man in transition in 2015, as he succeeded David Letterman as the host of CBS' "The Late Show".  He had big shoes to fill with Letterman and the Ed Sullivan Theater, and so far has succeeded (only Jimmy Fallon's show is beating him in ratings).  He ditched the character that he had in "The Colbert Report", but the show maintains a somewhat political focus with his inviting everyone involved with the presidential election.  He had memorable interviews with Joe Biden (talking about Biden's late son, Beau) and Bill Maher (their debate about religion).  We will see in 2016 if Colbert continues to do well in the competitive late-night circuit.
