A lovely mid summer afternoon to all - I hope the summer has been a time of celebration and gratitude for everyone and their loved ones!
Looking back at the dates from this thread, that was certainly a chaotic, tough summer...but happy to be on the other side of it, able to count every blessing!
First, and foremost, with the way the program (????? - I don't know tech terms) for the site works, the author on a published profile cannot be changed. The original author section cannot be edited, so the name on the profile cannot be changed.
Secondly, re-reading through the original comments, I think the reason why the profile stayed the way it was because of the following...
I didn't proofread the original profile, so I don't know which parts of the profile were added in. I suggested...
Now that we now what happened with the profile, you can post the profile here (annoying section, not annoying section) on what you'd like the profile to say, and I'll edit the profile so it says what you'd like it to say.
After that, the only thing I saw was "things edited out of the Why Not" section...which didn't clarify for me which items weren't originally included in the not annoying section. As this thread came to a standstill and "real life" took over, this thread on this forum was the furthest thing on my mind.
So, since I cannot change the author of the profile, I instead deactivated the profile and disabled the voting option for the profile. I removed all of the content from the profile, as well. The profile can still be seen if someone specifically types that ID number in, but, it will not appear anywhere on the site, in any of the featured collections, nor through random voting.
I hope this matter has been resolved.
I hope everyone enjoys the balance of their Sunday, and I wish one and all a great week. Take care, friends!
