I don't know if I agree... I've always feared hemmorhoids and straining would just increase the risk. Personally, the ideal movement would be when I recognize it (and I'm not in the middle of a no-pause game) and retreat, reading a good book, smoothly, wipes at hand, and the toilet is working. And the alcohol liquid is near me. Perfect.
